Diversity Dance Centre was established in 2009 by Josh Galloway & Emma Barnett and is a carry on from Kym & Nicci Barnett\'s fantastic work with K & N Dance Central (and it\'s derivitives) which was founded in 1986. Diversity Dance Centre is \"Promoting the All Round Dancer\" meaning that students should strive to be adequate at more than one dance style alone i.e. only Jazz. Rather, students are encouraged to excel and be diverse in most areas of dance including Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Funk, JFH, Popping & Locking, Lyrical Hip Hop, Broadway Jazz and the list goes on. Every few years we aim to introduce a new dance style to DDC and see how the students adapt to it. In 2010 we aim to introduce Irish dancing across the board from 6 and unders to our very capable Seniors. Diversity Dance Centre\'s aim is to continually re-invent themselves by keeping a close eye on the up-and-coming dance trends and styles to present to students of DDC in class. The students at Diversity Dance Centre range from those who have a lot of fun whilst keeping fit to those who maintain fun whilst adopting more serious attitudes to their career in the dancing world, whether it be in Professional Shows, Cruise Ships, Back-Up Dancing for Beyonce or in the latest Video Clip. We cater for all types of dancers, from Twinkle Tots who are 2 - 3 year olds who love to jump around and laugh to their favourite nursery rhymes to the Elite Jazz Troupers who enter prestigious dance competitions and perform in various shows throughout the year.
